Megan Janssen is a Certified Financial Leader & Educator and a Financial Advisor with Forum Financial. She passed her Series 65, the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination written by NASAA (the North American Securities Administrators Association) and administered by FINRA, to qualify as an Investment Adviser Representative in 2025.
Back in 2017, she moved to a new town for an unpaid internship and promptly got very injured. She had no safety net, no family nearby, no income. She drained her retirement account to pay for healthcare. She had always been accustomed to living a “scrappy” life, but after that, she was literally starting from zero.
There’s nothing like driving three hours with horrible back pain to save $150 on an MRI to inspire you to get your financial shit together. She learned a few nuggets that changed her life, finally recognized that finance isn’t a foreign language, made her first investment into a brokerage account by herself, and has been on a roll ever since. Her passion is helping others take the steps they need to gain control and confidence with their money. Agency over your finances = agency over your life. There are simple, approachable steps each of us can take to harness a wonderful relationship with money; it just takes a commitment, willingness to be open, and excitement to learn.
MJ has experience as an Executive Director, Associate Editor of an international magazine, running and health coach, wilderness guide, and as a green building specialist. She is also a writer, dancer, mama, and partner. She thrives when she can help others get the most juice from their life. Hence, Money Juice. Welcome.
In addition to owning Money Juice, Megan is a Financial Advisor with Forum Financial Management, LP, a registered investment advisory firm. Forum’s investment philosophy is grounded in a highly diversified strategy built on decades of academic research in financial and market theory. Investment portfolios are customized to a client’s unique risk tolerance and objectives. As a Forum advisor, Megan is committed to building lasting relationships, meeting regularly with clients to review progress and ensure strategies remain aligned with evolving goals. Forum’s advisory fees are structured as a percentage of assets under management, using a tiered schedule that adjusts with portfolio value.
Think of Money Juice as the thrilling takeoff—offering clarity, confidence, and purpose—while Forum’s disciplined investing acts as the autopilot, guiding you safely to your destination. Money Juice is not affiliated with Forum. Money Juice provides financial organization and coaching services only; it does not provide investment advice. Investment advisory services are offered separately through Forum Financial Management, LP, an investment advisory firm registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Registration does not imply a certain level of skill or training. Account minimums and asset-based fees apply.

You breathed clarity into my confusion in such a gentle and encouraging way – you always do. Thank you so much!

There is honestly nothing I would change about this experience. I feel like I have grown so much as a person these past five weeks, all thanks to Megan and her inspiring guidance. I am so grateful.
